The building without the sign is the real depot, which was a joint D&RG / Colorado Midland depot when built. Rio Grande sold the building and it was turned into a restaurant that went under. There have been multiple efforts to restore the building, but no takers. I remember going in one time when I rode the Rio Grande Zephyr and it was a neat station, too bad it fell into disuse. The other building you see with the union station sign was a office / freight building, associated with the depot.
