TOFC on Stampede...

On 3/9/99 I saw and photographed two westbound reroute z train detours at the Green River Bridge at East Auburn. The trains included trailers on regular TTX flats and single stack containers on flats. A signal maintainer was at the East Auburn high/wide detector and told the trains they were setting it off. They had, of course, come through Stampede Tunnel.

The high/wide detector on the east side is between Thrall and Ellensburg.
