That is about the speed I would guesstimate. And I assume the slow entry and exit speeds also reduces the trains per hour capacity of the TBT station.

CAHSR does not seem to fit in very well with this footprint. I would have used SFO as the northern terminus and Altamont, I-5, Tejon as the alignment. At least the op would be somewhat consistent with the notion of high speed.

I assume the politicians feel the urgency to come up with some plan, any plan.
