Utter nonsense. If you have not noticed Newsom is a flyweight - he was totally inert as Mayor of SF. He had the opportunity to inaugurate some major projects at Muni leading up to the Centennial in 2012 but did nothing. Passive.
The Ranch will obtain whatever are its true goals, but those might change somewhat if California were to go into a significant economic downturn. A real "pause", accompanied by a budget crunch could occur in the near future. It would not just be JerryRail that would be delayed.
You can see what are the Democratic Party's basic instincts and behavior in London Breed's first few days: add on some expensive functionaries, i.e., directors, administrators, etc. More bureaucrats loyal to the regime, but expensive deadweight. Expect similar from the Gavinator.
