Terrain and vegetation do not match any place on the Modoc I know. I saw rodendrons (spelling?) and fir trees. The white soil is characteristic of the Cascade Line and the bull dozer appears to be a company unit then used mostly in snow service on the Hill to Oakridge. I'm gonna guess that it might be footage from a wreck within a mile West of the W. Switch and Crescent Lake about that time. Just a guess. As to a head-on I do not know.
