Having attended Winterail since 1985, my opinion is: The SMELL FACTOR diminished greatly when the show moved to Oregon. The new venue, with great air conditioning and facilities, is certainly better than the Scottish Rite Temple was in its' later days. OTOH -- Maybe the odorous basement dwellers and whiners ( it's TOO FAR to go now, and Mom won't drive me there ) were mostly a California phenomenon ???
