The dumbness of a railroad around the Scotia Bluff would need to be re-engineered, but a billion dollars would fix most of the permanent problems between Scotia and Willits. These people want 10 billion for a double track main line to just run two trains each way daily?
But I guess 6 billion is supposed to re-engineer Humboldt Bay into some kind of mega-port that will completely change the character of the place? I'm sure everyone will go for that ?
