Many miles away from San Francisco, I've seen loads of advertisements linking a candidate for a Congressional seat with Nancy Pelosi. The ads made her seem like she was a bad person, but never cited any particular issues.

I heard her speak at the 2008 American Public Transportation Association Rail Conference in San Francisco and thought she was good.

She also has been supportive of Amtrak.

From a mass transit & Amtrak perspective (and for many other reasons not directly to a discussion forum on transportation matters), I think Congresswoman Pelosi has been doing a good job.
