Old boxcar on the Caltrain line

Rode the Caltrain up to San Franfreeko a few weeks ago about half a mile north of the Redwood City station on the right side is what looks like an equipment rental place, they have a storage building which is made from an ancient appears to be 20s era 50 foot boxcar does anyone know the history of this car?
