Re: BNSF Lakeside Sub Derailment

The derailment was on the double track west of the road crossing. When I was there they were still cleaning up the cars but the track damage looked pretty minor. Concrete ties in that area so I don't know how they fared.

I heard one train that had just been recrewed told to wait a while and the undamaged portion of the train that derailed were getting ready to head east. DS told them that the plan was to wait until North Dakota to pick up cars to fill out to full length.

There was a Z train in the siding at Paha and grain trains at Fishtrap and Babb parked. Also a WB grain train at Cunningham.
