Let's get a few things straight. Global warming/climate change alarmists like to conveniently ignore the distinction between naturally occurring climate change (which has been happening since the beginning of time and that humans have no influence or control over) and man-made climate change. I don't know a single person who dismisses climate change. But I, like many, am not convinced that climate change is caused by human activity. The only "science" that supports this theory is "consensus science", which isn't science at all. It should be called "consensus theory".
You cannot ignore the politicization of this subject, which immediately makes me suspicious of what we are being told. Especially when many prominent climate scientists in the field who disagreed with the conclusions in the IPCC report were ostracized, discredited, and found themselves unable to find work in their field. Did you know most of the "scientists" listed in the IPCC report that is used to make the "98% of scientists agree..." claim are not climate scientists at all? The whole thing stinks of politics.
Until politics are removed from this topic, I will continue to remain skeptical and demand clear scientific research data that proves the theory. So far all I've seen is cherry picked data, long-range models that have mostly turned out to be wrong, and dismissal of data and scientists who refused to support the IPCC/UN narrative.
I highly suggest this video for anyone seeking a counter-point to the whole man-made climate change theory.
Quote:The Great Global Warming Swindle was originally broadcasted March 8, 2007 on British Channel 4. A documentary, by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the virtually unchallenged consensus that global warming is man-made. A statement from the makers of this film asserts that the scientific theory of anthropogenic global warming could very well be "the biggest scam of modern times." A must see for truth-seekers everywhere...
