That's not true at all. Orange Empire moved out to Perris when it was determined that the 134 freeway was going to be built, and run right through Griffith Park. As a result, Travel Town would never be able to grow beyond what it was back then (and is now), so the Orange Empire Traction Club (as it was back then) banded together and purchased the land in Perris. There was no conflict between OETC and any steam group at Griffith Park that I was ever told.
