Re: Kim Kong Un's Train

Using Google Maps and street views it appears that there is dual-gauge track all the way from the Chinese border at Dong Dang, where I assume Kim crossed into Vietnam, down to Hanoi. Some of the photos seem to show the standard gauge rails pretty shiny, and some show at least one apparently active standard gauge diesel locomotive. But news stories have stated that Kim covered the last 100 or so miles by road, not in his train. Does anyone know whether (a) Vietnam still has some standard gauge equipment in operation in that area north of Hanoi, and (b) did Kim's train use some of it enroute to Hanoi?
