Bob Gray Dead at 97

First off, been lurking for awhile now, but I thought I'd choose now to share some sad news from the Nevada railroad scene.

Robert C. Gray died at the age of 97 in Orinda, CA on April 3, 2019. He was responsible for rebuilding the Virginia and Truckee Railroad from Virginia City and Gold Hill, and successfully convinced Nevada to form the Tri-County Railway Commission to rebuild the line from Gold Hill to Mound House. Gray was also one of the passengers on the last train to Virginia City in 1938.
