If it is wasted on a boondoggle that fails to meet most of our real intercity travel needs, or alleviate any current of projected deficiencies, with ludicrous promises to the voters, to be built by and for consultants, with no real public oversight, with a "cost is no object" set of design parameters, then just maybe it does it matter how much scarce taxpayer money is being or has been pissed away. Maybe, it matters to some folks, like maybe taxpayers? Hell, it probably matters even more so for folks who really support more passenger rail service alternatives in our many gridlocked corridors, with the limited taxpayer dollars that are available, being pissed away on this fiasco.

And, with a scarce amount of public and political good will this fiasco has pissed away, and with the public resources it has pissed away, this fiasco has actually probably set back rail passenger service improvements in CA by ten years.

Are they still paying you to respond to the CAHSRA's bad publicity on the internet?
