There is a Holiday Inn Express about 1 mile west of Van Nuys. There is also the Airtel about 2 miles west. And they have a shuttle Service. But you would have to contact them.

Have you tried [www.hotels.com]?

I used them everytime I travelled on Amtrak. Just type in an Amtrak City Code. to find a hotel with various rates. And which is the closest to an Amtrak Station. But there isnt too many Hotels near any Amtrak Stations in the Los Angeles Area. Other then near Union Station
