The question raised is what constitutes a "wreck", or more precisely in this context, what constitutes a "train wreck"?

Possible definitions:

1. Any event involving an unplanned collision between a train and some other object which is large or significant enough to slow, stop, or damage the train.

2. Any event involving an unplanned collision between two or more trains which causes at least one of them to slow, stop, or suffer damage.

Other possibilities?
