Omaha Track is a scrapper outfit much like the infamous A&K bunch. When you see them operating a shortline it is most likely to run down the two-year common carrier requirement prior to lifting the rails. Omaha Track is composed of former UP purchasing department people which I'm sure gives them an inside "track" on UP's surplus.
