There's a you tube video that has the gunsmith giving a UP Steam roundhouse and backshop tour. In that video he say's the E Units wheels are so wore down that the truck sideframes hit stuff along the right of way esp. at grade crossings...?? Poor E Units, DDA40X, 3985 etc...
