As a resident of King County,( Seattle ) , WA., I am somewhat surprised by the passage of the Sound Transit Bus & Light Rail Upgrade package, since it does increase sales taxes in the 3 County metro area. The original Sound Transit package took 2 tries to pass, in better economic times.
