The crossing issue at Anderson Drive was all documented and is public knowledge. The PUC at the time looked at the crossing design and determined that the road alignment was too sharp an angle and the crossing would have to be rebuilt if trains were to run again.It was at this point the city of San Rafael promised to build the overpass.Of course at that time there promise to build an overpass was more like a joke knowing it would take decades to build a rail line and doubtful it would ever happen.
