I guess reasonable would be something that would be fast enough to take the sting out of driving especially in the winter (a lot of auto accidents along here in the winter). It would have to go through the Pullman-Moscow area to pick up students so the Northern Pacific line would have to suffice. However this option sounds like quite a project.
