There is no freight on the Raton and Glorietta Subdivisions. Hasn't been for years. There is a local or two from Belen to North of ABQ. The Santa Fe Southern is moribund and rusting to the rails at Lamy.

Its much easier to site stations on Railrunner in the sparsely populated portions of NM than dense portions of CA. The lines and the populations they serve are just different.
