1) If that's all San Francisco is to you, that says more about you than The City.
2) "Queers?" Seriously? I've visited San Francisco many times. On one visit (to ride an excursion with SP 2472 [railroad content]), I went to gay bar to celebrate a birthday with a co-worker who also happened to be in The City at the same time. On another visit, my girlfriend and I rode the F Streetcar line [additional rail content] to the Castro. Other than that, while there are a lot of gay people in San Francisco, most of the time when I'm there, I give that little thought.
3) Homeless. That's not unique to San Francisco or even cities. There are plenty of homeless in other cities and even in rural areas. Yes, there are many more of them in San Francisco than other places. But their presence doesn't discourage me from visiting the City.
4) Illegals - How do you know which people are authorized to be in the US and who are not/ Do you and your posse demand to see papers?

The crap is there, but its not definitional of The City. It still is a beautiful city. I was last there in December 2018 with my girlfriend and mother.

I have found Market Street to be no worse than main commercial streets in other cities with respect to people asking for money.

Every time I visit The City, I always buy a multi-day MUNI pass (although in the last visit, I bought I Clipper Card. I've been on CalTrain, BART, Golden Gate Transit ferries and bus and MUNI (Diesel bus, electric trolley bus, light rail and cable car) as well as F-Line streetcars. Only once in 2001 did I have a problem. Otherwise, I've never felt unsafe using public transportation in San Francisco.
All of this, yet the left wing libs

Life and municipal governance is far more complex than your silly caricature.
