California Northern graciously provided free services to move it out of the Larkspur scrapyard back in 1987. SMART was a full supporter Mike Maggiani helped Richard form PROJECT 2472.
Mr. Parkinson and Andes Mint (old Cal Northern colors) sold ParkSierra to Genesee & Wyoming, owned by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, which is why they chose to paint their locomotives orange.
Great Memories!!
