Interesting film. But now that it's on Youtube how can they expect to get money for it on eBay?
For those into train simulators, there's a route built for Microsoft Train Simulator (also works in Open Rails) of the NWP as the North Coast RR in the 1990s. Extends from the south end of Ukiah to Arcata with the Samoa, Korbel, and Carlotta branches. Within the obvious limits of the sim, it looks a lot like this. Funny that the route's builder put a 45mph speed limit on the main line - even in the sim it looks a lot more like 25-30 mph territory, and this film makes it look like a full-length slow order.
At about 6:30 there's a suspension bridge across the RR and the river. Where is that? Clearly north of Island Mountain, but where, and is it still there?
