Not one thin dime of public money should ever go into privately held assets - ever.!

If gov't spending is really necessary to preserve operations, public capital investment must be in return for an ownership stake in the assets of the whole line - same as for any other investor - Else the public gets ripped off. Especially so, since RA is sucking out CORP's resources dry! - - and will suck the state's too, if given the chance.

Watch and see. As soon as the new yard is just broken in, CORP will close the line and sell it all off as scrap to satisfy the leeches at RA. Then they will petition for abandonment claiming there is no traffic on the ripped up line.

They've already been there - done that! - even after public investment.
