After supportingg rail for many years I conclued that it canot support itself. The rail advocacy community is selfdestructive as are the agencees that run it. High-speed rail is a boondoggle. I no longer support the efforts of any of NARP or TRAC. Because of how it is run, rail is doomed in this America. We must find alternative fuels and make our highways safer and run clean fuel efficint electic cars and a new way to power planes that uses no fosile fuel. Those of you who support rail programs are dreamers and fools. Rail cannot succed in America. Those of you hoodywinked by the heads of Amtrack and Caltrns are foolish.
