SB-1 contained significant transit funding. Mouse is a troll who likes to spew a lot of horse crap. While Hutch apparently doesn't bother to read what he's voting on. And, Ken and John (like Mouse...) think it's all part of the "vast" conspiracy...
While not a fan of some of the goofier crap like the vast taxpayer funded contractor "slop trough" and bloated gold plated cluster-f##k at the CAHSRA, or of neglecting our roads, the transit funding was included in the measure, and it passed. The current budget choices, driven by them awful folks in those gridlocked big cities, simply had the votes in the legislature (for better or worse...) to "front load" the transit projects near term, which has delayed things like the 99 project.
This is a rail discussion site. And, the political choice (and tradeoff in the budget compromise) was build the LAUPT run-through (number one cost benefit rail commute and IC rail investment in the US) by 2028, or adding a lane in a 99 rebuild by 2028.... LAUPT had the votes, and 99 didn't. So, of course, Mouse hates it.....
