MRL is making an effort to increase the capacity of Mullan Pass, so Pipestone is pushed further onto the back burner. A few years ago, MRL extended Austin up to near old West Weed for a 4+ mile long siding. They are currently putting in a new siding west of Avon and named it Bradley. Old Bradley is two miles west of that location. New Bradley will be in service in a few weeks. Avon was removed from service last week. It was hemmed in by two bridges at each end and had two grade crossings.

Also, just west of Garrison, MRL has made Phosphate into a CTC siding for a capacity betterment.
