If you meant the spur track in Carlsbad, I don't think it has been used at all lately. Ends (or used to end) at the gantry crane that moved power components through the plant. They want to tear the plant down and replace it with a peaker (?) unit, so the spur might be handy to haul scrap out. I'm sure it would clean up just fine.

Before being modified the power plant had 5 or 6 stacks, so I assume that many units. It burned bunker C brought in by ship. Was converted to use natural gas from the pipeline.
