Let's see now, $16.6 million to buy it, $20 million ( estimated ) to fix it up. Then the POCB has to find an operator for the line, or run it themselves. That's $36 million or so versus the State's recently announced budget shortfall, ( $125 million ??? I think ), versus the Oregon trucking lobby. Looks like lotsa fun times ahead in Salem ...
