Since I was the engineer on the BN train you are asking about. The Dispatcher had planned a meet for us with the Z at shed 10, the Z had mechanical issues at Midas and were delayed. This allowed #5 to catch up to us. Once the Z went by we pulled west of shed 10 and made a reverse move on to the #2 track. If they had kept us moving we would have been clear of switch 9 even if the Z didn't have issues. When UPS is on the train everyone waits.
