NOT at all hard to blame Anthroprogenic produced Greenhouse gases for current warming, in fact it's easy, we use science.... but choo-choo's could help to alleviate the impacts?

It's not really hard to explain at all, the earth's temperature cycles on the long scale should be cooling again, like they gradually warmed over the last 100,000 years, and especially over the last 25,000 years. And, when the native Americans arrived there was still a land bridge open to Asia.

And, only about 10,000 years ago, the glaciers melted away from the Canadian shield and we have Lake Michigan instead. The last major sun cycle change took about 25,000 years to warm the earth about 2 degrees centigrade to cause the last glacial retreat. It took around 18,000 years for that last period of warming to cause the melt back to the conditions modern human civilization has known for about the last 7,000 years.

The "end of the ice age" warming was largely based on a long term very slow solar exposure changes to the earth. It has been estimated that last Ice age retreat from this slow rate of increase in temperatures was spread out over some 15,000 to 25,000 years. Based upon the long term solar cycle, the earth should be in a 25,000 year period solar cooling period now.

The data says that global temperature has gone up nearly a full degree centigrade in since 1880, and over half of that just since 1978, and it tracks with the detected amounts of atmospheric excess CO2, and other GHG's like methane, chlorinated fluorocarbons, and even NOx emissions.

Let's see two degrees from natural solar cycle over 25,000 years, versus a one degree change in 140 years.... So by my math we will at this rate of increasing temperatuve do to the earth in 200 years in terms of warming, what it took 25,000 years for the change in the solar cycle to do which ended the last ice age.

Let's see again, a 2 degree increase over 25,000 years increases sea level by 300 feet, and humans in a solar cooling cycle have increased global temperature by 1 degree in a 120 years, and sea level rise since 1993 has been almost 3 inches globally, at an increasingly accelerating rate of rise... (damn that calculus!).

Maybe this will help?

What does Nasa say?

Or, maybe these might help on sea level rise?

NOAA seal level rate of observed rise

NASA observed sea level rise...

So, maybe instead of building more wall on the border with Mexico, maybe a sea wall to protect Florida from the "Gulf of Mexico" (the fastest warming body of water), to deal with at least a meter of sea rise in the next 50 years, just might be a more prudent investment to be making?

Of course, that would require a lot of fill to rebuild the barrier islands, to build the thousands of mile of new levee's, and to build hundreds of miles of new sea walls we will need. And. that would require a lot of trainloads of material to carry it...

Hey! Maybe we could use all of those coal hoppers we don't need anymore because coal isn't even competitive in electrical generation?

Now, isn't there some good Alco footage that Hutch can post?
