Santa Fe ran some of the early CF-7's through a second rebuild and added AC to the cabs and
26 air. They were pretty good after that. The switching circuit mentioned above was found
on most GP-7's and made them pretty good switch engines --- the only problem is that the switch would get left in the switching position and then get MU'd on the road and burn stuff up. As a result many roads later disabled the feature---this may have happened to the CF-7's.
