Oh, another guy with his head in the clouds. 18,000
riders is about 1,500 a month, and I'd bet that about
half of that number (IF it's a real number) were on
holidays, meaning lots of the time the train was empty.
No way you can break even at that level unless it's all
volunteer (read: suckers).
And now they have the revitalized and much better-known
Georgetown Loop to compete with.
Central City sat on their hands, whistled in the dark,
pissed into the wind, threw in with charlatans and let
the more aggressive Blackhawk eat their lunch.
