Just to clarify, this new effort in Central City is in NO WAY related to or a project of the South Park Rail Society nor the Denver South Park & Pacific Historical Society nor any other entity or person involved with the Como Project.
What is happening here is another attempt to "operate" 71 by the folks who tried in 1987.

We all should know how well that went, and for those that don’t -- the hub liners are worn off the rear most set of drivers and the lateral motion has allowed the flanges to wear into the outer side sheets of the firebox.
