The sale contract could stipulate that existing traffic must stay with UP. That's always been
a rub with me fro that matter. I think if you sell something you take the chance of losing the traffic to another interchange partner. But STB allows sellers to retain traffic on the lines they sell, often causing losses to the buyer.
