While we’re on the subject of EsPee signal locks the standard for years was the one with the double-sided barrel key similar to a small switch lock. Early brass ones made by Ames Sword Co. and the later ones were stamped steel; both had a spring keyhole cover.
My collection contains one of every style as well as the Sargent and Corbin radio locks.
