Many years ago, the locomotive was purchased by the California Trolley and Railroad Corporation and relocated from Portola to San Jose. It is on display in History Park coupled to the OSH boxcar and a MOPAC extended cupola caboose. Within the past year, 1215 received a new coat of paint and is looking good. The organization is working on painting both the OSH boxcar and MOPAC caboose. The locomotive is intact except for the hydrostatic lubricator which Portola kept for WP165. Her collectibles, such as the headlight, bell and whistle, are kept locked offsite with replicas in their place. There are NO plans to restore her for operation. She is maintained in a public setting at History Park where visitors can see her regularly. My museum office is directly across Senter Road, so I see her on a daily basis.
