The Haight was a dump even in the 1960's. Worked there in the 70-80's. Was a dump then. These tents need to be adopted by an artist such as "Christo". Oh, remember his fence of bedsheets? These tents and there placement could gain significance if they were depicted as an artistic project and garner some funds from the community.
