On my recent trips to Deschutes River Gorge ( last 2 years ), I've noticed an almost daily " Bare Table " train ( empty double stacks & spine cars ); sometimes N/B but mostly S/B. Also, BNSF likes to fleet several trains in the same direction within just a few hours. This is likely due to short sidings and hand - throw switches on most of the line.
