The rate of improvement in electric cars over the last ten or fifteen years implies that sometime between five and ten years from now the majority of new cars sold will be electric. No, ICE cars aren't going to disappear overnight. At that point almost half of the new cars will still be ICE powered and the great majority of cars on the road will still be ICE powered. But the future is becoming clear and so will be the skies.
