UP 4014

Just a question re: UP turnout of the big boy 4014 last year.
Sounds like everything went OK but I observed a couple of comments that is was not able to get up to full power, for what ever reason. Is this true? If it is true, what is wrong? Was it brought out before it was completely rebuilt, Just to present for the 150th anniversary of golden spike of the railroad. And will any problems be resolved next time they bring it out?
