Palisade, Nevada, July 1988

With a bridge collapse somewhere near Palisade, NV, thought I would post this. I have no idea if this is the bridge in question or not, but this one appears to have been built in 1900. July 1988 as SP SD45 crosses the Humbolt River at the West end of Palisade. The dirt road in the immediate foreground is the right of way of the Eureka and Palisade Railroad, one time operator of Dan Markoff's 4-4-0 "Eureka".
