Weather has taken it's toll, but they seem to eventually make it. Amtrak hogger friend says the GE's are not aging as gracefully as the F-40's did and they are getting cranky in cold snowy weather. Oddly, one of the problems has been traction motors, normally a GE strong point, but other problems as well.
