The following two photographs illustrate the transfer stations. First, at Metro Center/7th, a Blue Line train is in the station at top, whereas the Red Line trains run one level below.

Second, at Hollywood, passengers use this station to transfer between the Red and Orange Lines. The variety of designs and artwork on the Red Line makes each station unique, and having the orange columns help emphasize that this is the stop to transfer to the Orange Line! :)
