Have not heard anything on TV here in Seattle area about any service disruptions for BNSF or UP.
We've got rising rivers in Orting Valley, Puyallup and south in Lewis County/Centralia/Chehalis.
They expect the City of Orting to be under water, and have told people to evacuate.
Since midnite, Tacoma has had 2+ inches, Olympia 3+ inches, one area on the coast 10 inches in last 2 days.
Major slide at Hyak Ski area on I-90/Snoqualmie closing I-90. Calling it a "Climax Slide", it was under the ski lifts at Hyak area and some homes destroyed.
For those of you out of the area, check www nwcn com for info.
They are saying this flooding is going to be worse than 1996, which was called "one hundred year" cycle flooding.
The snow pack we've built up in the last month is disappearing fast due to the rain/warm temperatures.
NWCN had news clip last nite showing a BNSF train moving slowly somewhere on their main line, but again, nothing said about any service disruptions to the railroads.
