This will get a lot worse before it gets better. Interesting to scan down to read the river levels at [www.nwrfc.noaa.gov]

Interestingly, the Yakima River is currently above flood stage at Easton and Horlick, and that river should continue to rise.

Here in Olympia, we expect peak flow at around 3-4pm Thursday. Which also happens to be high tide. Flooding of parts of downtown is anticipated.

I-5 is currently slated to close late this evening due to flooding, which should also put the BNSF line at Chehalis in jeopardy.
