As some of you may have read on other venues, CEMEX is shutting down their Davenport, CA plant for at least six months. Obviously, this means the Santa Cruz job will only run once a week at best and then only to Santa Cruz. Thanks to Brian Bergtold for the information.

I started shooting that branch in January of 1985---looks like this shot of the train arriving at Davenport taken August 1st, 2008 will be one of my last.
